“Capacity Building”
The needs are great, but staffing is limited. Employee time is precious. Many non-profit organization leaders find
themselves caught in a capacity crunch.
Unfortunately, all too often leaders must make the difficult choice to
divert valuable staff time to internal, administrative work. Efforts to pursue the organization’s
mission are constrained by employee resource depletion. External goals are not achieved because
the budget cannot support additional staffing to take care of the “little” work
that somehow must get done.
